On may 27, 2020, the Government of the Russian Federation signed a decree on the creation of a special economic zone of technical and innovation type in the Saratov region.<\/em><\/h6>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/h6>\r\n
A special economic zone will be created on the territories of the Engels and Balakovsky municipal districts and the City of Saratov municipal formation.<\/h6>\r\n
On June 17, at a meeting with representatives of the government of the Saratov region, measures for the start-up stage of functioning, the formation of the Supervisory Board, as well as a long-term plan for the development of the special economic zone were discussed. During a business visit to Saratov, Maria Chekadanova confirmed the readiness of JSC “MC SEZ “Istok” to become the management company of the new SEZ. Maria thanked government of the Saratov region for their assistance in creating a special economic zone and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.<\/h6>\r\n\r\n
